Tool Room Position

Tool Room Machinist: Posted in Sunday's News Paper. Manufacture tooling to meet engineering and production requirements by performing general or all purpose machine tool set-ups and operations under limited supervision.

Tool Room Machinist must have specific training or work experience with (4) years of specialized training in various machine operations and Tool Room functions to perform duties effectively.
Knowledge to set-up, operate, and adjust a variety of Tool Room equipment, work to close tolerances, perform layouts, and blueprint reading.
Subject to routine decision making based on established Tool Room practices and technical procedures.
Provide or receive technical information which may require an explanation or interpretation to proceed with specific job involved.
