Dunham Products, Inc. Experiences Growth         

In a time of economic uncertainty, while many manufacturing companies in the United States are closing shop and moving their operations overseas, we are pleased to announce that Dunham Products, Inc. is expanding!  We have outgrown our facility at 6 Industry Drive and will soon move to 7400 Northfield Road in Walton Hills, OH.  The 40,000 square foot facility will allow us to expand our workforce and production capacity.  With the additional space, we are looking to increase our cold heading capabilities in the specialty fastener industry, as well as our secondary operations and CNC capabilities.  Renovations in the new building are well underway with a tentative move date at the end of 2008.

Dunham Products, Inc. was founded in 1946 by Joseph F. Klukan, Sr. in a small, two car garage.  Equipped with a thread roller and his advanced mechanical skills, he began producing studs for the aircraft fuel pump industry.  He built the company on one simple principle: go the extra distance to outperform the customer expectations.  As we continue to grow in capabilities and size, a focus on quality and a commitment to customers is still the driving force behind our company.

 

Dunham Products, Inc. specializes in the complete manufacture of aerospace and nuclear fasteners.  Customers include military, aerospace, automotive, mining, and manufacturing companies.  We offer extensive machining and production capabilities from prototyping to full manufacturing, with a wide variety of secondary operations including centerless grinding, thread rolling, knurling, drilling and CNC turning.  Centerless grinding capabilities include profile, straight, thru-feed, taper, and step grinding.  Knurling and thread rolling capabilities include standard, metric, and special threads from #2 thru 1 ½” in diameter.  Our automatic screw machines enable efficient production runs, and our CNC machines possess turning capabilities up to 12” in diameter. We currently offer cold heading up to 5/16” in diameter and drilling of .025 thru 1” in most configurations. 

 

We have the ability to modify standards to specials in a variety of sizes and material hardness including: cutting down threads to a special length, adding thread, removing thread, profiling or reducing body diameters, drilling, milling and broaching.  We pride ourselves in completing jobs that other companies dismiss as too difficult. 

 

Dunham Products, Inc. is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company with a superior quality program.  All sublet processes such as plating, heat treating, anodizing, non-destructive testing, magnaflux, patching, and magnetic penetrant are sent to approved sources with complete material and special process certification furnished when needed.
